alternative, ambient, electronic, deep house
I missed the press release of his 2016 album Mare by his own Ki Records (Ki Records). But I was already deeply impressed by Christian Löffler with his debut back in 2012 titled A Forest.
The second album Young Alaska shares similarities in style with Mare especially with the second song Mt. Grace, but the new album sounds more minimalistic and simple.
Mare is happy, sad, deep and with an atmosphere of ambient electronica, environmental field recordings, and textures. It’s brilliant and should get more attention
